Most children spend their days outside playing, going to friends’ houses, having sleepovers and not really having a care in the word. Wes spends most of his days in the hospital, being poked and prodded and praying that the next round of chemo will work so he can go home and be a kid.

Wes is 9 years old.  Wes has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma since he was 5 years old and has relapsed 3 times.

Neuroblastoma is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in certain types of nerve tissue. Neuroblastoma most often begins in the adrenal glands, which are on top of the kidneys. It can also form in nerve tissue in the neck, chest, abdomen, or spine.

Wes is also a HUGE Star Wars fan and his dream is to join the costuming group called the 501st Legion. The 501st motto is, "Bad guys doing good" and that’s where we come in. This page is set up to raise the money to get him his very own screen accurate bike scout costume.  With your help, make this dream a surprise and a reality for one deserving kid and his family.

Any money beyond what we use for his kit will be given to his family for much needed help to pay bills.

All the money raised will go to Wes and his family to fund his very own Scout and offset medical costs.

For anyone who can’t donate, Wes loves getting trading cards/letters/stickers and such.  You can mail them to 4222 Fortuna Center Plaza #229, Dumfries, VA 22025

Long Time

It's been so long since I've posted.  I haven't really been in a writing sort of mood until recently.  Life has been super insane.  I feel like I've had so many projects on my feet.

Since joining the 501st back in November 2013 I've added so many new friends and in turn many of those friends are almost like family.  It can be dysfunctional but none the less I love them.

My mare has been great.  Process of trying to breed her this year.  Which in turn is an avenue of my life that I 've always wanted to do to be a "breeder".  Finally getting around to it.

I got a new job back in July 2014.  The folks are great and I like the environment.  But I learned to never settle.  I have applied to a few government jobs.  Nothing sticking. Unlike my last job where I hated and couldn't wait to leave I'll be really sad to leave this place.  I obviously can't be lucky in the next job so might as well enjoy having an awesome work environment while it lasts.
